Ibis Qingdao Ningxia Road Hotel, Qingdao

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were very cheap for Chinese New Year, but unfortunately, the non-smoking room I stayed in smelled awfully of cigarette smoke. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the supermarket and KFC, but it was a bit far from the city center and attractions.

The hotel had a nicely decorated and spacious room, but it felt a bit small for a long stay. May 4th square and food street were conveniently nearby, and the overall cleanliness was good. However, some improvements could be made in the room size.

The hotel's rooms are well-decorated and spacious, clean; however, they tend to be a bit small for a long stay and had a noticeable cigarette smoke smell despite being nonsmoking. The service included efforts to surpass language barriers but lacked friendliness at times, although overall nice and very helpful. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station and close to amenities, although not the most convenient. Dining options range from subpar to acceptable, with limited choices and poor quality in comparison to other Ibis hotels. Facilities are decent but not exceptional, providing basic amenities to guests.

The hotel was conveniently located near May 4th Square and Food Street, but the room was unusually dark even during the day. The sound of a mourning lady from a nearby room was quite unsettling.
